Outdoor Play/Gross Motor (Full Body Movement)
*  Cycling
Riding on a tricycle, bike, or balance bike is
good for young children’s gross motor skills. But there are a number of simple
gross motor activities they can indulge in at the same time to increase the
benefits:

Lay out fun roadways or mazes for your child to navigate.

Let them play delivery driver by setting up a shop at one end of your space and waiting for your child at the other. Have them take your “order,” ride to their store, and bring you back your item. For safety, use a
backpack
for your child to carry items in.

Free Play Time

*build social/emotional muscles! Work on problem solving, language development and critical thinking skills through play

Music and Movement
          All the Snakes
…to the tune of London Bridge
All the snakes are slithering,
slithering, slithering.
All the snakes are slithering,
across the grass.
All the snakes make a hiss,
makes a hiss, make a hiss.
All the snakes make a hiss,
and smile at the sun.

                                                                        Snake facts

All snakes can bite you. It is best to just LOOK, not touch.

Some snakes are poisonous. They can make you very sick and you will need to go to the doctor right away.
Most snakes are NOT poisonous. They just hurt when they bite.

Snakes eat lizards, birds, fish, snails, insects, small mammals and other snakes.

Snakes smell with their tongues. The snake’s tongue is “forked”.

Snakes lay eggs.

But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
